Register on our site before January 15, 2025.

What is the event schedule?

The event kicks off at 4 PM with entertainment.

Opening Ceremonies at 4:30 PM.

Burners on 4:50pm

First Round of Judging 8pm

Should have everything sorted by about 9:30pm

Are there awards for the best chili?

Yes, amazing prizes await the top chefs!

1. Chili Champ (Best Chili)
2. Best in Show (Best in Apperance)
3. People’s Choice (Voted by Chef’s and Guests)

What should I bring to the event?

Bring your enthusiasm and a hearty appetite!

Bring your INSIDE shoes. SKINNER CHILI STADIUM will likely get messy and you don’t want to be in your sock feet.

Bring everything you need to make your chili.  Everything.  All you are getting is a burner, a small amount of square footage on a table top.  No pots, blenders or knives will be provided.

Bring your own bowl to maximize your presentation to the judge.

Bring a plan to get home. The bar will be open all through the event. All drinks are on the house (Skinner Chili Stadium)! No Charge! I have hired the best bartenders from the best universities, and they appreciate your tips. When you tip, they have a mariners bell that they ring and you’re the hero every time!  (Bring a few fivers!)

Bring a crying towel. You’re going to need it.
